《海旁錯覺》是趙雅穎首張鋼琴四重奏唱片，於維也納錄製。

趙雅穎是來自澳門的青年音樂家。畢業於上海音樂學院計算機音樂專業，獲美國南加州大學影視配樂碩士錄取，曾於網易遊戲擔任配樂實習生，擂閃國際配樂大賽TOP20，全國高校數字藝術大賽：配樂組別國獎及省獎一等獎，IEMC國際電子音樂大賽配樂組二等獎，上海匯創青春一等獎，代表作品有《無生源論》、《紙飛機》、《澳門新八景》等。專輯《海旁錯覺》鋼琴四重奏於維也納音樂廳灌錄並在Amadeus Festival演出。

趙雅穎的音樂風格多變，涵蓋管弦樂、室內樂、動畫配樂和電子音樂等，創作理念是希望能持續創作出更多風格創新的作品，並尋找屬於澳門的獨有音樂風格。

《海旁錯覺》為趙雅穎的首張專輯。專輯的靈感源自對海洋與天際的幻想。音樂編制為鋼琴四重奏，分別由兩個小提琴、大提琴和鋼琴組成。 專輯分為“序章”與“微光”、“擁抱”、“幻覺”、“ 破曉”四個樂章。

序章以聲音設計和電子音樂為主，帶領聽眾進入夢幻的世界。鋼琴四重奏蛻變自對大海的冥想，徹夜未眠的作者於海邊觀看日落、日出，思維漸漸變得漫無邊際，出現了許多非現實的意境和想法，精神彷彿脫離了現實。


Born in Macau, Nga Weng is a young musician studying in Shanghai Conservatory of Music major in Music Production. She works mostly on composition, music arrangement and screen scoring. She is admitted to the renowed Screen Scoring Master program in University of Southern California. Nga Weng has won multiple awards recently as follows: The 9th National College Digital Art & Design Awards “Film scoring category – National Award First Prize and Shanghai Final First Prize”; The 6th Think Youth-Shanghai International Digital Creation Competition “Composition and film score category - First Prize” “Experimental Music - Second Prize” ; Lei Cine Scoring Project TOP 20 Nominee ; IEMC Electronic Music composition finalist; Score the World Contest – Finalist (top 60) ; Horror Hotel Scoring Competition – Honor mention etc.

Her music style varied from orchestral music to electronic music, and she entered Netease as game composer(internship) in 2021. Nga Weng hopes to create more Macau original music and get involved in the development of the music culture of Macau.

"By the Sea" is the debut album of Chio Nga Weng. The piano quartet consists one Opening piece and four movements: "Phosphenes", "The Embrace" , "Illusion" and "The Dawn". The inspiration came from the imagination behind the sea.

In the opening piece, sound design and electronic music is mixed to lead audience entering the moody space. The four movements have a clear harmonic progression, influenced by film music, 20th century music and also classical music. It is descriptive in personal feelings towards the impression of the sea.
